Hi, I’m Jodi Deering,
I Didn't Know It Had a Name
In 1992, I lost my father.
He was the person I turned to for guidance — the one whose presence made me feel safe in the world. And when he was gone, something unexpected happened. He didn't leave.
Not completely.
In the quiet that followed his passing, I felt him. His guidance continued. His presence showed up in decisions, in nudges, in moments I couldn't explain but couldn't dismiss. He even helped me name my little red sports car, Roller skate. That was him. Completely him.
I didn't have a word for any of it. I only knew that my connection with my father hadn't ended. It had simply changed form.
Years later, something shifted — an awakening that brought everything into focus.
What I had been living quietly for decades had a name: mediumship. And with that clarity came something else — the realization that I could facilitate this kind of connection for others. That the gift I had always taken for granted was something other people were longing for.
I've now sat with over 300 people from around the world in some of their most tender moments. I've donated more than 75 sessions to those in financial need. And in every single session, I bring the same intention I would want for myself — honesty, care, and evidence that is specific enough to be undeniable.
I know what it is to lose someone and desperately need to know they're still with you.
I know the ache of that question — and I know what it means to have it answered. Not in a vague, could-apply-to-anyone way, but in a way that stops you mid-breath because only they would know that.
That is what I hold space for in every session. Your loved one's personality, their memories, the details that belong only to them and to you. My role is simply to receive what comes through and share it clearly — so that you can be the one to recognize what's true.
If you've been carrying the question of whether your loved one is okay — whether they're somehow still with you — I want you to know that question brought you here for a reason.
You're welcome to book a session whenever you feel ready.
